Latitude 41 was founded on the belief that Joliet-area audiences are eager for more quality community theater. Latitude 41 believes that community theater should be an artistically-enriching and enjoyable experience for the audience, the players, and the crew.

The founding members of Latitude 41 consist of the people that most recently were responsible for directing and/or producing such well-received shows as The Pillowman, Apartment 3A, Sylvia, Transylvania General and The Lion in Winter on the Bicentennial Park stage.

The artistic direction of Latitude 41 is driven by the following people:

Al Pindell – President/Artistic Director

Luke Pascale – Vice-President

Christina Spiros – Secretary

Bill Griffith – Board Member

Ken Fletcher - Board Member

Jim Spiros - Board Member

Katy Friefeld - Board Member

Jeff Matson - Board Member

We are supported by many hard-working and awesome people who are also enthusiastic about bringing great shows to the area. We hope you’ll want to get involved, too, either as a volunteer or as an audience member.  Latitude 41 is looking for creative people to work with, on stage and off. You can get on our mailing list for upcoming shows, events and auditions by clicking here. If you are interested in volunteering in other areas let us know by clicking here.
